Restorative

Patients have many choices when it comes to choosing materials to repair or replace missing, broken or decayed teeth.

Composite (white) fillings

A composite filling is a tooth colored resin material. The material is layered into the prepped tooth. Each layer is hardened by a highly intense visible light. The material is shaped and polished to match the contours of the tooth.

Amalgam (silver) fillings

Dental Amalgam is considered a safe and durable material that has been used to restore teeth for more than 150 years.

Replaced existing amalgam filling with a composite filling.

Crowns

A crown is a full coverage restoration that is used when a tooth is too damaged, decayed or broken to be restored with a filling material. Crowns strengthen and protect the remaining tooth structure and can improve the appearance of your smile. The type of crown used: porcelain, gold, silver or a combination of materials will depend on each patient’s individual circumstance.

Replaced existing gold crown with a porcelain crown.
