Root Canal

To save a tooth that has abscessed or has been badly broken, root canal therapy is needed. Dr. McAllister, wanting the best success for her patients, will refer you to an Endodontist, a root canal specialist. A crown is usually the recommended treatment for a tooth following completion of the root canal.

Extractions

Unfortunately when a tooth can not be saved, the only option is an extraction. If a patient chooses, Dr. McAllister can remove most teeth under local anesthetic in the office. For complicated extractions, or those patients wanting general anesthesia, it will be necessary to refer our patients to an Oral Surgeon.
